Senior Pastor - Doug Gray
A Western Mass local, Doug Gray has lived in Chicopee for most of his life. After earning a Biology degree from the University of Massachusetts, marrying his high school sweetheart, Cheryl, and starting a family of two sons and a daughter, Doug worked as a lab technician at Baystate Health for 10 years. Although Doug enjoyed his work in the lab, he knew God was calling him into the ministry. While continuing to live in Chicopee, Doug attended Baptist Bible Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity. In addition to earning his degree, Doug also received the “farthest commuter” award for traveling over 50,000 miles between Chicopee and Clarks Summit, PA.
Following seminary, Doug served as an associate pastor for eleven years, seven in Chicopee and the last four in Indiana. In the summer of 2011, Doug and Cheryl left their two sons at Purdue University and came home to Western Mass with their daughter, Amy, to plant a Harvest Bible Chapel in Ludlow, which, in Doug’s words, is “a dream come true.” Doug is passionate about bringing the gospel to Ludlow and is looking forward to leading a church that exists to help people negotiate life’s challenges and experience a lasting change.
